• Support person-centred goals using encouragement, prompts and graded support.
• Recognise how confidence, choice, dignity, risk and family concerns can affect progress.
• Record progress, barriers and next steps clearly.
• Know when to pause, report, escalate or request review.

This course supports reablement awareness and practice across adult social care settings, including care homes, domiciliary care, supported living, extra care, reablement services, community support and day services.
It supports person-centred care, strengths-based support, independence, dignity, choice, wellbeing, safe practice, record keeping and review.
This course does not replace local policies, professional assessments, moving and handling training, falls assessment, safeguarding procedures, local reablement pathways, supervision or manager sign-off.
