Programme Overview

The module is delivered through one interactive morning session delivered by our instructor via a Zoom webinar.

Understanding Self management Skills has been developed by Skills for Care to support managers and aspiring managers in adult social care. Strong self management underpins effective leadership. When managers understand their values, manage their time well and maintain personal resilience, they are better equipped to support teams and deliver high quality care.

This programme provides a clear introduction to self management, emotional intelligence and wellbeing strategies that help managers carry out their responsibilities with confidence. Delegates will be encouraged to reflect on their own behaviours and identify practical ways to strengthen their effectiveness.

Understanding Self management Skills is suitable for anyone working in Health and Social Care who holds a management role or wishes to progress into one. This includes team leaders, supervisors, deputy managers, care home managers and others who want to develop their personal leadership approach.

Cost: £112.50 + VAT

Funding: Adult social care employers in England can claim funding through the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) Learning and Development Support Scheme (LDSS).
