You Can Care Week (Monday February 12th, 2024 – Saturday February 17th, 2024) is an annual campaign that rightly recognises the fantastic work performed by those in the social care sector, whilst striving to inspire more individuals to consider a fulfilling and rewarding profession for themselves.
The significance of social care workers and the positive influence that they have on the people they tend to, their families, and their friends, can not be understated, and will be highlighted in events up and down the UK and all across social media throughout the week.
The goal of the campaign, beyond simply giving due praise to care workers and staff, is to challenge any stereotypes and misconceptions pertaining to the industry, and to encourage people of all ages and backgrounds to explore opportunities in the social care sector.

This year, we are inviting all care workers to show that they’re not just skilled at their jobs, but skilled outside of their working lives too. Whether it’s singing, dancing, baking or any other hobby or interest, we want to know, as we believe that truly celebrating our social care heroes means celebrating their many other talents too.
