Child development happens rapidly within the first 12 months.

This course provides knowledge and awareness around understanding child development from Birth to 1.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Identify the Statutory framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage requirements specifically connected to child development of babies from birth to 1 year.
  • Understand the guidance around sterilising equipment, milk feeds and weaning.
  • Explore the prime areas of learning identifying some examples of how to support babies' development.
  • Identifying some of the key milestones between birth and 1.
