This course explores the vital role home carers have in making sure that they prepare food that is safe to eat. Yes. Increasingly, inspectors are looking for training certificates and changes in vocational qualifications make certificates even more important. Therefore, testing is an important part of learning and evidencing learning.

CareTutor testing is very straightforward with a multiple choice assessment at the end of each course.

Yes. A certificate will be automatically created for you on completion of the course. All our certificates contain the CPD and Skills for Care logos, meaning that wherever you go, your future employers will know that you’ve been trained to the highest standards. These certificates are only available to be viewed, downloaded and distributed by admins on the account.

For users who have failed their attempts 3 times, a company admin will need to email us at info@caretutor.org, with the users name and which course you would like them to be reset in. Our team will reset this for you and send a response when it’s been actioned.

That depends upon the type of course, national guidelines, legal requirements and the expectations of your Inspectorate. As a broad guide, we recommend taking all mandatory training at least once a year. You can read more about this here.
